Diffusion

The frosted polycarbonate diffuser eliminates visible LED dots and creates a smooth, continuous line of light. Without it, you see individual points. With it, you see architecture.

Surface Mount Profiles
The most versatile profile — mounts directly on any surface with screws or adhesive. Works on concrete, brick, stone, tile, timber, and plasterboard. The simplest installation: drill, clip, done. Ideal for under-cabinet, shelving, and ceiling perimeters where recessing isn't possible.

Recessed / Plaster-In Profiles
Flush-mounted into gypsum ceilings and walls for seamless lines of light. Perforated flanges screw to the framing, then get skim-coated flush — only the diffuser shows. The premium choice for new builds and renovations where you want invisible housing.

Corner Profiles

LED profile FAQ
What length do aluminium profiles come in?
Our profiles are 3 metres long. They can be joined end-to-end with connector clips for longer runs, or cut to any shorter length with a hacksaw or mitre saw. End caps and mounting clips are included in the price.
Which profile width fits my LED strip?
Most of our profiles accept strips up to 12mm wide (the most common size). Some wider profiles fit 15mm strips. COB strips are typically 8mm wide and fit all standard profiles. If unsure, tell us your strip and we'll match the right profile.
Do profiles come with diffusers?
Yes. Every profile includes a frosted polycarbonate diffuser that eliminates visible LED dots and creates a smooth, even light line. The diffuser snaps into the channel — no glue needed. Clear diffusers are available if you prefer maximum brightness over diffusion.
Surface mount vs recessed — which should I choose?
Surface mount profiles sit on top of the wall or ceiling — easier to install, no construction work. Recessed (plaster-in) profiles are flush-mounted into gypsum — cleaner look but requires a channel routed into the ceiling during construction. For existing rooms, surface mount. For new builds or renovations, recessed gives the premium invisible result.
Which LED strip should I use inside a profile?
COB strips are the best match — they produce seamless, dot-free light that looks premium through the frosted diffuser. SMD strips are brighter but show individual LED dots (less noticeable through frosted diffuser). For smart control, pair with a CCT tuneable strip and a Tuya WiFi controller.
How do I install a plaster-in profile?
Step 1: Screw the profile flanges to the ceiling framing (before plastering). Step 2: Run LED strip and wiring. Step 3: Skim-coat the flanges flush with the surrounding plasterboard. Step 4: Sand smooth. Step 5: Snap in the frosted diffuser. The result is a seamless line of light with no visible housing.
Can I join profiles end-to-end?
Yes. Use our connector clips to join two 3m profiles for a 6m run, or any combination. The joint is invisible once the diffuser is in place. For corners, use separate corner profiles or mitre-cut the ends at 45 degrees.
