Can I give temporary access codes to AirBnB guests?
Yes. Our Tuya smart locks let you generate time-limited PIN codes in the app — for example, "code 4829 valid Jun 8 to Jun 10". The code automatically expires at checkout time. No physical key handover needed. You also get a full audit log of every entry.
What happens if the smart lock battery dies?
All our smart locks include a physical key backup. Most also have a USB-C emergency power port — touch a power bank to the lock to unlock it. Battery life is typically 6–12 months on regular use, and the app warns you when battery is low.
Do the alarm sensors need wiring?
No. All our alarm sensors are Zigbee wireless and battery-powered. Stick them on doors, windows, or walls with the included adhesive. Battery life is typically 12–18 months. The alarm hub connects to your WiFi for push notifications.
Can I automate actions when an alarm triggers?
Yes. In the Tuya app, you can set automations like: smoke detected → trigger siren + send push notification + turn on all lights. Or: motion detected at night → turn on outdoor lights + start camera recording.
Do cameras work with Tuya?
Yes. Our smart cameras integrate with the Tuya Smart app for live viewing, playback, two-way audio, and motion alerts. Recordings are stored on a microSD card (included with some models) or optional cloud storage.
