What happens if the smart lock battery dies?
All our smart locks include a physical key backup and a USB-C emergency power port — touch a power bank to the lock to unlock it. Battery life is typically 6–12 months, and the app warns you when battery is low.
What is the hidden PIN feature?
Instead of entering just your PIN (e.g. 12345), you can embed it inside random digits — like 872312345827. The lock's algorithm finds your code within the stream and unlocks. This prevents anyone watching over your shoulder from learning your actual PIN.
Do alarm sensors need wiring?
No. All our alarm sensors are wireless (433MHz) and battery-powered. Mount with adhesive or screws in minutes. Battery life is 12–18 months, and the system alerts you when any sensor battery runs low.
Can the alarm system call me if WiFi is down?
Yes — our touch screen alarm system supports GSM. Insert a SIM card and it will call you, send SMS, and push app notifications. Triple-redundant alerting ensures you always know.
How does the presence sensor differ from a motion sensor?
A PIR motion sensor detects movement. If you sit still, it thinks the room is empty and turns off lights. A mmWave presence sensor uses radar to detect human presence — breathing, micro-movements — so lights stay on while you are reading or watching TV. Much smarter for automation.
Can I view cameras remotely?
Yes. The Tuya app gives you live viewing, playback, two-way audio, and motion alerts from anywhere with internet. Recordings are stored on microSD card (local) or optional cloud storage.
