COB LED Strips
Chip-on-board technology packs hundreds of tiny chips into a continuous line — no visible dots, just smooth, seamless light. The premium choice for cove lighting, profiles, and architectural features where visible LED dots would ruin the look.

SMD LED Strips
Individual LED chips (2835/5050) mounted on a flexible PCB. Higher brightness than COB at a lower price point. Individual chips are visible up close but disappear behind a frosted profile diffuser. The workhorse for general lighting.

Neon Flex
Flexible silicone tube that mimics the look of traditional glass neon. Bends to any shape for signs, logos, bar counters, and architectural outlines. Available in 220V (long runs, no driver) and 24V (smart-controllable) formats.

What is the difference between COB and SMD LED strips?
COB (Chip On Board) strips pack hundreds of tiny chips into a continuous line — no visible dots, just smooth, even light. SMD strips have individual LEDs spaced along the strip — brighter per chip but visible dots up close. COB is premium for profiles and cove lighting. SMD is more affordable for general use. Both look identical once inside a frosted-diffuser profile.
What voltage — 220V or 24V?
24V is the standard for homes and commercial spaces — safer than mains, supports smart controllers, and works with aluminium profiles. 220V strips (snake lights, neon flex) need no power supply — just an adaptor plug. Choose 220V for simple long runs with no smart control. Choose 24V for anything you want to dim, tune colour temperature, or control from an app.
What does IP20 / IP65 / IP68 mean?
IP20 = no water protection, indoor use only. IP65 = splash-proof (bathroom ceilings, covered outdoor areas). IP68 = fully submersible (swimming pools, outdoor ground installations, showers). Always choose IP65+ for any location exposed to moisture.
How do I make LED strips smart?
Add a Tuya-compatible WiFi controller between the power supply and the strip. We stock controllers for: single-colour dimming (KSh 1,800), CCT tuneable white (KSh 3,200), RGBCCT full colour + white (KSh 3,600), and addressable pixel effects (KSh 6,500). All control via the Tuya app with Alexa and Google Home voice support.
What is CCT tuneable and why would I want it?
CCT (Correlated Colour Temperature) tuneable strips have two sets of LEDs — warm white and cool white — on the same strip. A smart CCT controller blends them to any temperature from 2700K (warm/cozy) to 6000K (cool/energising). Set warm for evenings, cool for mornings — automatically on a schedule, or by voice.
Do LED strips need aluminium profiles?
Not required, but highly recommended for any visible installation. Profiles protect the strip, dissipate heat (extending LED life by 2-3x), and the frosted diffuser creates a smooth, professional light line. Without a profile, you see individual LED dots. With one, you see a continuous line of light.
How many metres do I need?
Measure the total length of the area you want to light, then add 10% for cuts and corners. Our strips are sold per metre — you buy exactly what you need. For a room perimeter cove, measure all four walls. For under-cabinet, measure each section individually.
What is an addressable LED strip?
An addressable strip allows individual control of each LED or small segment — each pixel can be a different colour or brightness. This enables dynamic effects: colour chasing, rainbow waves, fire simulation, sound-reactive patterns. Our Tuya-compatible addressable controller provides app control with 100+ built-in effects.
