CRI 90+ CRI — Colour Rendering
CRI measures how accurately a light reveals true colours. Below 80, colours look washed out — skin tones go grey, fruit looks dull. At CRI 90+, colours are vivid and natural. Our smart downlights and LED strips are all CRI 90+.
Dimming — Smooth & Flicker-Free
Dim from 1% to 100% with smooth curves and zero flicker. No buzzing, no warmup delay. Pair with motion sensors to auto-dim hallways at night, or set a "Movie" scene that drops every light to 10% with one tap. Standard wall dimmers don't work with smart bulbs — dimming is done digitally at the driver.

Smart lighting FAQ
What does CCT mean?
CCT stands for Correlated Colour Temperature, measured in Kelvin (K). Lower values (2700K) give warm, yellowish light — cozy for bedrooms and living rooms. Higher values (6000K) give cool, bluish-white light — energising for kitchens and offices. Smart lights let you adjust CCT from your phone.
What is CRI and why does it matter?
CRI (Colour Rendering Index) measures how accurately a light source reveals the true colours of objects compared to natural sunlight (CRI 100). A CRI above 90 means colours look vivid and natural. Below 80, colours look washed out. Our smart downlights and LED strips are CRI 90+.
Can I dim smart lights with a regular wall dimmer?
No — standard wall dimmers cause flickering with smart bulbs. Smart lights are dimmed via the Tuya app, voice commands, or a smart dimmer switch. The dimming is done digitally at the driver level, which gives smoother curves and no flicker.
Do I need a hub for smart lighting?
WiFi bulbs and strips connect directly to your router — no hub. Zigbee bulbs need a Zigbee gateway. For 1-5 lights, WiFi is simplest. For whole-home lighting with many zones, Zigbee is more reliable and doesn't congest your WiFi.
Can I mix smart and non-smart lights?
Yes. Smart switches can control non-smart lights (on/off and dimming). And smart bulbs work in regular sockets. You can upgrade room by room — no need to replace everything at once.
